SEN Space
SEN Space is a community organisation providing support and respite for children with complex and additional needs, and their families. We opened in January 2022, and currently support over 80 families from the Lisburn and Belfast area. We have a wide range of services including early intervention programmes for 2 and 3 year olds, preschool provision for 3-4 year olds, afterschools and holiday clubs for 4-12 years, family sessions, sibling club for young carers, parent wellbeing and support classes, parent and tot sessions, and family sessions. We hope to extend our services to support children from 12-19 years in the coming months, and have plans for an overnight respite facility on site.
